Nevertheless, it seems quite clear where it is heading, -what it will look like when mature and its key benefits. REMOTE IO PLC MES ERP VALUE CHAIN INTEGRATION

We can concept, e-draw, program, wire and test e-cabinets (with partners for that – also control cabinet less technologies) and set up factory control systems from PLCs, through MES (supported by operations research) and ERP, IOT, up the e-commerce value chain integration in an industrial meta verse setting when desired.

The value we add is the full digitalization (Remote IO up to E-Commerce), virtual commissioning, the state of the art in robotics solutions, manufacturing problem solving and heavy lifting capacity therein. We do what we can do best and leave the rest to the various together selected specialty machine building partners.

We support the major commercial renown ecosystem brands (like Siemens, Codesys, Allen Bradley and so on) as well as open source and some lesser known ones with niche powers.

Industrial robots

We can help out with Fanuc, ABB, Franka Emika, Universal Robots, Comau, and others or generic interfaces to robots such as provided by Siemens, Beckhoff, ROS or BnR. Also where needed we can utilize custom robots (manipulators) from extremely large upto very small and precise stages and program them. In addition we can provide automated manufacturing logistics solutions.

  • Reach studies, robots selection and positioning in a project and simulation. Tool design and cabling.
  • We have experience with the full capabilities of the robots, including many robots in each other’s reach e.g. in automotive welding (inc. laser), safety, robots on axis and/or working in turntables. Force control, vision, 3D sensing and so on.
  • We have experience with highly specialized applications, e.g. measuring products in 3D where robot trajectories and actions are adjusted on the fly based on measurements.

Computer vision, 3D, sensing

We have experience with several vision and 3D packages: Halcon, Open CV, Cognex, but also robot specific e.g. Fanuc vision or 3D specific like LMI.

  • Selection of the equipment, camera’s lenses, light, if necessary (if no smartcam) IPC/rack system etc. So the full vision concept. This can be normal cams but also special cams in deep infrared domain e.g., special light: projective light like lasers, projectors etc., special lenses like 360, zoom, mirrors. Sensors like radar, ultrasonic, eddy current, surface roughness, and so on.

Second opinion

Perhaps you are on a trajectory A with your concept / solution or vision. We can have a look at it, detect some things which might have gone unnoticed or propose alternative viewpoints.

A second opinion could prevent some blind spots or even bring a whole new solution (or part of a solution) to light. Depending on the value of the project there can be a significant delta between the then new trajectory B vs the first conceived A: on prevented cost, quality and increased productivity.

A brief second opinion is generally more than justified on any industrial project. Even just the act of doing this keeps everybody fresh!

Development boost package

Sometimes we together develop and test new machines or lines at a reduced initial rate. We then charge a minimal hourly rate (or minimal fixed amount) and only charge the remainder (plus an extra for the risk we took with you) if the project becomes a success. For example you pay 1/3 of the remainder at the moment a next newly developed machine gets sold; or you pay the remainder in batches after x products produced successfully on your new line. This can both reduce your risk and lower your capital requirements to realize new and innovative projects.
